A little smiling lion in the middle of the grass . It looks so happy and inocent, like if nothing could perturbs its happiness. I like this photo because is so shining, with beautiful and strong colours.

 A little cocodrile getting off its egg, with those penetrating eyes, and a blur background. Really beautiful. This picture is so fascinating, I like when photos catch those moments that only happen once, in the correct second and angle.

VIDEO I : Ground Birds: World's Weirdest: Bird Mimics Chainsaw, Car Alarm and More 

This video shows a male bird that can make a lot of sounds, including a car alarm and other birds, etc just because he wants a mate. In fact, he makes a kind of remix of sounds, its really interesting.

 VIDEO II: World's Weirdest: Hooded Seal

Okay, this guys are really weird. They blow a pink ballon from its nose, I dont know how he does it, but its for getting a mate. The one who wins is the one who have the biggest pink ballon on its nose.

I'll recomend photography > Photo of the Day. I like to take photos and watch other people's work. Today the photo is this one: 

I like this section of the website because you can found a different photo every day, and they are really good photos, this photos blow out your mind, and they are from differents part of the world... what else can you want?

Okay, this was a really hard decision because I have a lot of photographs that I really really love. 

I took this photo in my house.The little kid is my niece and the other one is my father. They do not usually have a great relationship, but that night they were so friendly… that night there was a lot of love at our house, especially between them because they were really happy playing together with her toys, and inventing stories and telling secrets that didn’t tell us. It seemed that they were old friends of the same age, that all the days playing together at the garden… but that is not true, because she lives in Valdivia, and my father in Iquique. Anyway, they spent a great time that night.

The picture was taken this summer at our house. This was the second time my little niece was to my house in Iquique, and she wasn’t the only one who went there, her mom and my other sister went too. We had a great time gathering together, like in the old times.

Post 5 > Why do I want to be a vet?

Well, I want to be a vet because I really love animals and I really like to help. My story starts when I went to Liceo Camilo Henriquez and met my very best friend (who lives with me now). We had so much in common, and she loves animals too. We started dreaming together about our future, and what we want to do when we grow up. She wants to be a zoologist and investigate animals, and I want to be someone who can help other kind of living being, mainly in wild habitats. So, I don’t really want a job in an office, or a clinic… I want to go into the wild, and help animals that are in danger, to protect and save them.

I think I’m in the right career, because I had so many doubts about this dream, but now, I’m absolutely sure about what I am doing and what I want for my future…

 There is a thing that bothers me a little, the focus that this university gives to the career. Sometimes I think that they want us all to be in the business of production of animals (in all sense), and I really hate that. I hear the teachers almost always talking about “you are here because, ultimately, you want to help humans and worry only of them”, and I’m like “no! Animals feel, animals have their own life, animals can suffer...“ I want to help them, and to help our planet (obviously I don’t forget human’s troubles), I think that’s why I want to be a vet.

My favorite Piece of Technology

Maybe this could sound arrogant, because I know that not a lot of people have an iPhone, but I think that this piece of technology is the best thing I ever had.

I got it when I was finalizing my high school studies. My parents gave it to me because of  my good grades and my great behavior with them.

It is beautiful because of so many reasons! It’s a good camera, its photographs are excellent! And I can take photos anywhere and with an excellent quality. It’s a good way to remain online anywhere and comfortably, for receiving my emails and talking to people I like. I can have fun with it downloading different applications or games, hearing radios from different countries, recording voices from the classes at the university, finding places with its GPS, scanning images or texts, etc

I use it all the time, but I am not like addicted, because I can live without it in any moment, even sometimes I forgot its other functions and use it only like a phone. So if someday I lose it, I will miss it a lot, but I think I will recover quickly… probably I will buy another cell phone, cheaper and more simple, and start using my computer again to check my email or to talk to people in the other cities where I lived, things like that.

Black and Tan Coonhound :
Not the prototypical house dog, the black and tan coonhound, nonetheless, makes an exemplary pet. It is mellow, amiable, calm and unobtrusive indoors. Outdoors, its strong hunting instincts take over, and it can be difficult, if not impossible, to turn from a track after it starts trailing. As befitting a dog with its heritage, the black and tan is strong, independent and stubborn. It is gentle and tolerant with children, but it may be too independent to satisfy a playful child. Symmary: “Can dogs understand what we say?”
Basically, dogs can understand words if they are mostly associated to concrete things, it´s important for them too, the way we say the words, this help to improve their assimilations. Dogs can understand each other in their typical dog language (mainly non-verbal); their butts can say a lot of them too…

     Act 03

“Too Cute”: I would really like to watch this show because I love cute animals, they make me feel like “oh my god I love them... I really love them more than anything in this world, oh my god, how can they be so cute!!?”
“Animal Cops”: I like this show because they are a kind of superheroes of animals. They want justice for pets, to improve their lives and their healthy…  “Animal Cops” will really catch me.
“Whale wars: Viking shores”:  This show attracts me because I love the people who make things for animals, and give themselves and their lives for animal justice, even if this includes go to the jail.

Opinions

What is your opinion about owning an exotic pet?  

I think this is bad, I completely disagree with this because a lot of those exotic animals are wild animals, you can`t own them because they must remain in their originals habitats… I think this idea of owning animals or things that are weird or non-common is a little bit selfish and eccentric.  

What is your opinion about violence on television?

  I disagree with this. People usually copy what other people do, mainly the little kids. If you show them (or us) violence, many people unconsciously will do that, or will turn more aggressive, this doesn’t improve our society. 

What is your opinion about tattoos?

  I like tattoos because they are mainly records of important things that happened to people. But in some way I am scared of them because I heard that, when people with cancer have their therapies or when you must do an X-ray exam, the tattoos hurt so much, that you start screaming of pain. 

 What is your opinion about the Chilean tradition called ‘mechoneo’? 

 I completely disagree with this. I think “mechoneo” is stupid. The guys who were “mechoneados” should know how bad this is, I can`t understand why they do it to the next generation instead of get revenged of the old students who made that to them.  

What is your opinion about recycling? 

I think recycling is one of the things we should do to help our planet. It is a hard work, requires patience and perseverance, but it’s a great thing to do.
